Video Game Music of the Week – 24-30.03.2014

Not one, but TWO Between Life and Games forum users, Firion and Jinxtah, suggested today’s track independently from each other. It’s “Nerevar Rising” from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Jinx loves the game and has spent hundreds of hours on it. Interestingly, while also being a fan of the game, Firion enjoys just this particular song out of the whole soundtrack. As for me? I’ve never played Morrowind… The only Elder Scrolls game I’ve played (and actually liked quite a bit) is Oblivion. And I’ve always been fascinated with the sheer size of the Daggerfall’s world. Skyrim?… Maybe one day.

Composer: Jeremy Soule
Game: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Song: Nerevar Rising

Oblivion is the worst TES of them all. Morrowind is the best game ever made. Period! Glorious music too!
