Unlike the first two, Samurai Shodown III is not a game I ever came across in my local arcades… I only learned of its existence after discovering arcade emulation. It introduces some new characters, such as Nakoruru’s cute little sister, Rimururu. It’s also stylistically quite different from the first two, and thus not a big favourite of mine. Without a doubt, though, it has an interesting soundtrack. I’ve chosen the elder sister’s theme here. Like her previous theme, it’s really nice and relaxing, in tune with her spiritual connection with nature.
