Shinobi was of course a hit also on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. The first entry on that system came out in 1989, the same year Shadow Dancer hit the arcades, and the music was composed by none other than Yuzo Koshiro whose later works include the Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle series. I’ve chosen a great and very recognisable theme – The Shinobi, which one can hear already on the first stage.
