The Shinobi series started almost 30 years ago now, with a fast-paced arcade action game. When I was little, it was one of the games that fascinated me the most, along with its half-sequel Shadow Dancer… I wasn’t very good at it, but my friend Ivaylo was able to make it pretty far. He was always better at games than me, and is one of the best Mortal Kombat IX and X players in the world today. Anyway, the song I’ve chosen for today is the first stage theme… Understandably the one I was most familiar with. And my favourite – although it’s damn close with Stage 4’s music, which is another rad, typical 80s theme.
