The Persona series gained a lot of fame in more recent years with its third and fourth installment, but it started a while ago on the original PlayStation with the first two. Persona: Revelations was quite rough around the edges, but Persona 2 gave us a much more fleshed out experience with solid story and cast in its two parts. The soundtrack of the second Persona, especially in its 2nd part, Eternal Punishment, is also quite pleasant, with some songs standing out a lot and contributing greatly to the game’s overall atmosphere. For today, I picked one of my favourite songs, Sumaru TV, which is one of many techno tracks that make Persona 2’s soundtrack quite unique among JRPGs.
