I think I’d already seen Fester’s Quest back in the day when I played other NES games, but it hadn’t managed to really catch my attention. It was the Angry Video Game Nerd’s episode on the game that intrigued me. Sure, it’s a rather stupidly difficult game, but there was one thing absolutely awesome – the music. Already the first stage’s music. Sunsoft’s NES games have always had nice soundtracks, with deeper beats, and this song is no exception. It’s one of my favourite 8-bit songs.
