This week’s music comes from a game I’ve reviewed on Between Life and Games, the incredibly atmospheric Metro 2033! Easily one of the best FPS games ever made, Metro 2033 was based on the book of the same name. Having recently also read the book, I must say that it has its definite strengths over the game, but there are also certain aspects where the interactivity plays its role to give the game the edge. I highly recommend the book to all sci-fi fans.

Today’s track is called “The Hole”, it starts a bit slowly, in an ambient manner, but really picks up some 75 seconds in. It’s probably my favourite in the whole soundtrack.
