Early this year, I published an interview with Jacob, a traveller who had done a 100 km walk around Tokyo, and I recently heard back from him with the interesting news that he had done a trip in North Korea. Of course, free-roam tourism there is strictly forbidden, and you only get to see what the authorities have deemed appropriate to show you. Still, I believe you’ll find the short documentary he made about his trip interesting. Despite the iron grip of the leaders, there is a surprising amount of beauty and fascinating things to be found, and this film shines a light on some of them.
