Final Fantasy XIII was a pretty poor entry in the franchise, merely a slight-above-average game in a franchise that’s given us several all-time classics. But not much more is to be expected from Square after Sakaguchi left and after the merger with Enix… Lightning Returns, the third game in the XIII series, came out recently, and reviews and fan reaction show it’s as lukewarm and uninspired as the first two. But enough of the bad. XIII’s soundtrack, composed by Masashi Hamauzu, actually had some good songs, and I’m sharing my personal favourite with you today – “Will to Fight”.
