Final Fantasy VII is, without a doubt, one of the best games of all time. A few years ago, it got a sequel on the PSP – the interesting, but not nearly as deep Crisis Core, telling Zack’s story directly preceding the events of Final Fantasy VII. Elaborating on some of the characters, and adding new ones that are, at best, questionable, Crisis Core still managed to get the main thing right – elaborate on the things related to Zack that we saw in FFVII. The game also had a really, really good soundtrack, perhaps better than the game itself, and the song from it that I chose today is the slow and moody Wilderness of Desertion.
2013 is a year that I’ll be happy to see end tomorrow night. This tune, perhaps, fits it well. I hope 2014 is a fantastic year for all of us, with lots of love and happiness!
