Once again a launch title for its system, the PSP Ridge Racer was actually called “Ridge Racers” in Japan, making for a different title than the first game in the series. Ridge Racer was the first game I installed on my PSP back when I bought it in 2011. I’m not big on racing games, but my then-future wife certainly enjoyed it. As usual, the game had a rad soundtrack, and I picked “Departure Lounge” from it, as tune for this week.
