The Christmas/New Year’s Eve theme continues this week with a wonderful winter song from Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise – Frosty Morning. Viva Piñata is an interesting project by Microsoft, developed by Rare, that could never really catch much traction with the hardcore gamer crowd, but did anyone realistically expect anything different? In their efforts to push it, Microsoft even had a cartoon series of the same name created. It didn’t really work out.

Still, it was a fascinating new franchise that tried something different, which is a plus for the video game world, as far as I’m concerned. And it managed to win over none other than our most energetic forum user Super Sherry, who is about the only fan of Viva Piñata that I know. But back on topic, the song is really pleasant. It has a strong feel of Christmas-themed cartoons.
