This week’s music sends me way back… Back when I was like 10 years old and we’d spend hours after school at the local arcades… Black Tiger was a game that stood out quite a bit at the time – with its RPG elements like buying different weapons and equipment, it was more complex than most of the other games in its genre. And its music was quite catchy, too. I picked the Stage 1 theme for today… Naturally the music I was most familiar with (usually couldn’t make it past the second stage, whose theme is a neat remix of the first’s… in fact, all of them are!).
It should be noted that Capcom released the Capcom Arcade Cabinet collection on PSN/XBLA some time ago, and Black Tiger can be played for free! If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it.
