Manchester United have all but taken the title today.

Meanwhile, in the Championship, Hull City botched a half-time lead. :P

Grrrr. At least Everton won.
It's my turn in the box at old trafford soon for the city game, it would be good to see them clinch the title against their rivals.

Bow down before me you peasant!

One day I'm taking my brother to Old Trafford. He's a huge United fan. Maybe in the beginning of next season.

I'm glad Real Madrid turned the game around on the second half.

Curious story though, I only started watching at the second half. I put my RM shirt, and they ended up scoring 4 goals in 45 minutes...I felt like I was instrumental in their victory =D

I was wrong with my 6-0 prediction, England actually won 8-0 :D

My friends girlfriend bet 8-0 too, it's embarrassing when a woman knows more about football then the men.

It looks like Messi had a great game for Argentina judging by the reports I've been reading, he's finally coming good and showing the haters he doesn't rely on Iniesta and Xavi :D

Pfft, Messi is a massive talent on his own, it takes a huge hater to say he only relies on Xavi and Iniesta.

In other news, only two days until Denmark vs. Bulgaria. :P

England were shocking in the second half last night! The worst thing of all is that we were getting totally hammered and Hodgson didn't even try to change things around until they scored, that's pretty lame for a supposedly top coach. What was it Mourinho said? "Give the opposition something to think about. If they have solved the problem you confront them with, change it."
And I'll never know why Rooney takes free kicks, he's just not good enough. I'd put Baines in ahead of Cole at left back just because of his free kicks, the difference between the two players game isn't much so those free kicks are a big advantage, his crossing too is far better than Cole's. Glen Johnson isn't good enough defensively to play for the national team either, we must have better right backs surely! Smalling can play on the right. Is Phil Jones injured? He can play there too.

Ok i don't like soccer that much, so im just root against england :P

Edit: you know, im going to try and give soccer one last chance. i think it was two world cups ago i tried to sit down and really watch it and give it a chance, but i got board with it. but i'll try it again, maybe you guys can help me out. how come when players get injured on the field they don't stop the clock? that really confused me. and have they started cracking down on diving in this sport? the games i watched some guy looked like he was dying on the field and then he goes out, then he's back in like five minutes later WTF!!!

Heh, that's the most common complaint from Americans who don't really know how the sport works. The clock is NEVER stopped, but the referee extends the regulation time as much as necessary at the end. And diving gets punished with yellow cards.

Anyway, Bulgaria made a draw with Denmark the other day, and we really deserved to win! We're 4 points ahead of them now, but they've got easier matches until the end, plus a game in hand. It'll be a tough battle for the second place in our group (Italy will get first easily).
