I was interested in playing these Mana games way back in the day, but I never got to them, and at this rate I likely never will.

No real big loss. I like them but they are no "must plays"

I am considering uninstalling Magic Arena (again) but in that case I need to find something else to play.
There are a dime a dozen Hearthstone clones on Steam, I can almost see myself going through every one and not liking any of them. Last night I tried one, Eternal, and I feel it's only ok, even though it is Hearthstone crossed with Magic which ought to be a good thing.
The game I play does not have to be a card game though. I feel I could be trying to get into RTS or city building games, or maybe even an MMO. It does not have to be free either, but I am very reluctant to plop down money on a game without trying it first, so a demo at the very least would be nice.

Well you could play Sanctum http://playsanctum.net/ on the PC (a mobile version is still being developed). They give you free cards just for playing games but most of the time there are very few players in the lobby since it is a game from 1998 or something.

I'm only playing it again cuz I'm trying to get top ranked #1 player position again. Such a chore, since the game crashes a lot

I'm bored lately and not motivated to make RPGs at all. Maybe that was a fad. So it may be time to hook the PS3 back up. (or maybe get a PS4 or Switch but PS3 looks like the best option especially since I already have one) I could check out Borderlands series finally.

Good thing I sold all my PS3 games right? :p
Well at least I've beaten them so no biggie.

Good thing ps3 games are dirt cheap now. You can buy any you want. :D

- I finished Okami btw. It's a fantastic game. It's stupid I didn't play it before. I'm really hoping those rumors of a new okami are true. I need more.

- I'm really enjoying ff12. Never had so much fun in a final fantasy game. The battle system is super interesting and I like that I don't have to press buttons so much, but it's still tactical. I also like the characters more. Some seem in their 30's and less angsty than the usual jrpg characters.

I’m reminded a lot of star wars by this game but in a world where Star wars is fun and not shit. There is an evil empire, Baltheir is Han Solo and Fran is his Wookie, Vaan is the annoying little Skywalker kid and Ache is Princess Lea? There are fancy airships and stuff! It all fits to a T.

Definitely klem, the low price of games is a major plus to having the PS3.

That is an interesting point about FF12.

Just saw 2nd hand ps3s in a reseller store for 60 euros. 599 US dollars to 60 euro. That's insane. I played most games I wanted but I'm almost tempted to get one.

Started playing DQ9 and I hate it. Gave up at the first room.
No idea what to do with this DS Lite now and it would be a waste to sell it after going through the trouble of blocking the LED.
Shame the DS has no games. Really sad.
Also the sheer financial burden to try and put a good game on it would be ludicrous. I could have already bought two or three Switches with all the money I wasted on these little projects (thankfully was able to make back a good chunk of it through selling) but all of that would be nothing compared to buying DS games secondhand. I might as well be throwing my money in the fire.

a) sell it
b) keep it. It's a system I repaired and even did a custom job on, might as well keep it as a token. The system was $20 so whatever.
c) give to mum? That's kinda crazy though. She'd probably appreciate an XL more. The XL even has a few games preinstalled on it that are geared toward nongamers.

Edit: fuck it, I'll sell it. Better to do it now while I still have DQ9 to bundle with it.
With PSP, PS3, 360, on my radar and the prospect of getting a Switch Lite too, not to mention movie watching.. the DS doesn't even register as a passing thought.

Edit: although.. maybe I'd get Mr. Driller Drill Spirits and that would be all I need. The game is pretty cheap.

Yeah it's bad. And it's the first time I ever played a DQ game. My view of the series really chutes after this.

Anyway, bought a copy of Mr. Driller. Might as well salvage this!
Even if I end up selling the DS Lite, Mr Driller is a much more suitable choice for a game to bundle with it.
I should go ahead and list DQ9 for sale.

My DS has seen very, very little playtime. I got much more use out of my PSP. Hope you get a buyer for DQ9!

My gaming time has become almost non-existant now, but I did have a good couple of months of Yu-GiOh!: Duel Links obsession. Twas fun, but I've lost the desire to play it now. Only so much you can do without spending money on it and playing the same decks gets a bit boring eventually.

Sell it it's crap. DQ 11 is also shite. I'm getting the impression all DQ games are shit. Go buy a switch and play breath of the wild. Then you can pretend you're outside.

msg - ninty is not THAT bad. I had fun with my 2DS. Not every system they put out is a winner, but Sony is like that too. (see Vita) I for one am glad to have tried both their offerings.

Silent - y'know, I thought about trying that. I tried a couple of F2P card games on Steam, my favorite being Eternal which I play when I'm bored. Yugioh is one I was thinking of trying as well as Legends of Runeterra which isn't on Steam.
Magic Arena is much better than Eternal obviously, but I uninstalled it after a week or two because I suspected it was screwing with my internet. But it's probably for the best because I was so addicted to it and would play it constantly.
Like you I never spend money on these games so at times it feels kind of pointless. Eternal seems pretty generous with rewards though, and like Magic Arena you can craft any card in the game.

Balls. Ninty is all about maximum profit. If they made Covid 19 they'd have already mutated it into an XL and 3D versions that can infect you again.

Blackscar, in China the virus hit a couple of months earlier… Normal that more people have recovered by now.

Plus it was never a real threat to healthy people and the mortality rate is below 1%. Wait, don’t jump down my throat straight away, let’s see this thing out then we’ll look at the stats and agree I was right from day 1.

Our local newspaper posted an article saying NHS workers get priority at supermarkets now. So I commented: What about other key workers too? Truck drivers spend all week away keeping shelves stocked then have to queue on their only day off. My comment is gathering likes faster than a girl taking her top off, it can’t go unnoticed. I might actually make a difference for once here.

They will, the local manager will read the article and my comment will be up at the top somewhere because of the likes. I’ve boycotted my local Sainsbury’s local store because they let 1 person in at a time. But we all use the same baskets and touch the same stuff. Morons the lot of them.

Death rate is dependent on how we act. If hospitals can coap with the amount of people and if we don’t go infect old people and cancer patients just for fun, the death rate could very well be 1 percent and it would be great if that happened.
    KlemoibKlemoib
    (Saturday, Mar 28. 2020 18:46)
If too many people get sick at once or we start kissing cancer patients the death rate could be around 10 percent though. It’s not a fixed number. We’re lucky it’s a pussy virus otherwise we would be fucked pretty badly from how retarded our countries handled this.

I made a formula to calculate the price of my paintings. I also wanted to know the formula to know how big I have to make a painting to make a certain determined amount of money. I used all of my brain, but I could just not figure it out. Now I used an online math tool and I’m not surprised I could not figure it out. It’s way past high school math but I have the answer anyway! Thanks internet!
