This weeks game is Skool Daze for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. It was released in 1984 and also ported to the Commodore 64.
You've all heard of Bully on the PS2 right? Well this is pretty much the same game, just 20 years or so earlier. You have to go to skool and do classes, whilst causing as much mischief as possible.
Ok, the graphics haven't aged well, but to be fair, they never really looked all that good to begin with. The thing this game brought was creativity, and freedom and appealed to skool kids everywhere.
The skool wasn't exactly huge, but there was always plenty to do. Including lines.
If graphics bother you there was a remake for the PC named Klass of '99.
It also had a sequel released the following year called Back to Skool.
This won't appeal to many of todays gamers because of how bad it looks and loading times from cassette tapes, but I recommend giving it a play to see how games were back in the day, and how they have changed.
Behind the graphics there's a decent game, I give it a 7/10.
